Find the answer to what is XHTML.
XHTML or eXtendable HyperText Markup Language is the latest version of
HTML in the family of HTML standards.
XHTML 1.0 is the successor of the current standard HTML4 and aims to
reformulate HTML 4 for use by both HTML 4 based web browsers as well as
other document processing applications that use the XML standard.
For most web designers the practical aspect of conforming to XHTML is mainly
a more strict use of the HTML tags. For those simple web authoring
applications, which use XHMTL with CSS, XHTML could therefore be considered
a subset of HTML.
