How To Guides

Our Link Strategy.

It is not always easy to improve your ranking on the search engines and if you want to receive lots of traffic that's what you need to do. While currently most web masters believe that reciprocal linking is the most important strategy to improve your web site's search engine ranking, that is in general not always true. Google and other search engines are now reducing the value of reciprocal links and prefer one way links from web masters that link to your site because they like your content. Hence, if you have good content, and are capable of getting such one-way links, your ranking will improve more than when you link to the page that has your return link. However, some reciprocal linking is still appropiate, but be careful: If your return link is on another page, that page will likely have a lower page rank and you might benefit even less.

One-way links.

Our link strategy is based on the importance of one way links on pages with significant content. A web site that has only an incoming link from another web page with good content, will get a much higher boost in their search engine ranking than a web site that has a reciprocal link exchange using link pages. And if that web page has a similar topic the search engines will like it even more.

Hence, we prefer links from contents pages, and because this site is about link exchange, we do not mind links to these pages from your main link page, where you explain what your link exchange policy is. Any links from other pages in your link directory has a lot less value for us
